The VI Central Committee Meeting of our Union was held at Chennai on 7, 8 May 2026.
Com M S Srinivasan, President, CBEU presided.
Com C H Venkatachalam, General Secretary, AIBEA addressed in length on the current scenario.
Com E Arunachalam, General Secretary, TNBEF; Com Anirudh Kumar, Former Joint General Sec, CBEU and Joint Secretary, AIBEA; Com K Srikrishna, Former General Secretary, CBEU and Treasurer, AIBEA greeted.
Com B Ramprakash, General Secretary, CBEU presented the report of activities. Com S Ramakrishnan, Treasurer, CBEU presented the accounts.
All the State Committees were appreciated for the excellent conduct of the various programmes in connection with the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of our Union.
Central Committee Members deliberated on the various issues, on the legacy of CBEU and the importance to continue the same.
General Secretary replied to the deliberations.
Comrades Arun Tripathy, Narinder Pal, Atul Chopra, Dilip Potle, Altab Hussain, Manjula who retired during the period were honoured.
The following co-options to the vacancies were proposed by B Ramprakash, Gen Sec and seconded by Com Mukesh Kumar, JGS.
